Christian Worship and Liturgy
From May 12–16, St. Martin hosted a five-day workshop focused on deepening understanding and practice of Christian worship. Led by Fr. Angelo Sancz, SDB, sessions covered key themes including the nature of Christian worship, the power and forms of prayer, the role of sacred music, and the significance of bodily posture in liturgy.
Participants explored the five elements of worship—prayer, singing, Scripture, self-offering, and the Eucharist—and reflected on how liturgy transforms everyday life. Emphasis was placed on active participation, reverence, and the Eucharistic revival in the Diocese of Aitape.
The gathering concluded with renewed commitment to living out and promoting authentic Catholic worship in both personal and communal life.
