Advent – the season of hope. Throughout Advent, the Church reminds every believer to always be vigilant in prayer, repentance and contrition. In that spirit, on Friday, December 20, 2024, Parish Priest organized a Taize prayer hour
At 8:00 p.m., the community gathered at the church to attend the Taize prayer service with the theme “Repentance and Waiting for the Lord’s Coming”. Present at the prayer service were the Sisters of the Congregation of the Servants of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
At the beginning of the prayer time, Father Giuse invited the community: In addition to decorating the nativity scene, the star lights and the splendid lamp posts outside, each of us also needs to purify our souls by attending Mass, praying diligently and receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation. That is the most important thing to welcome the Lord’s coming. Let us thank God for allowing us to gather in this beloved church. Let us offer each moment to God, asking God to let us stay in the peace and quiet of our souls, so that we can meet God.
The prayer time was solemn and fervent. After listening to the Word of God and meditating in silence, everyone knelt down in front of the sanctuary, kissed the Cross, held the Cross of Christ in their hearts and silently offered their feelings and wishes to God.
